Usain Bolt to run 200m at Athletissima |
Olympic and World Champion Usain Bolt is set to run the 200 metres at the Athletissima Diamond League meeting on July 9.
It will be Bolt's second big race of the summer, with the six-time Olympic champion also down to line-up in the 100 meters at the Areva meeting in Paris five days earlier.
Bolt has yet to finalise the remainder of his summer program before the world championships in Beijing from August 22 to 30.
Bolt, who is the world-record holder in the 100 and 200, will race the 200 meters for the fourth time in Lausanne.
He holds the meeting record of 19.58 seconds, set in 2012. Pole vault Olympic champion Renaud Lavillenie also confirmed his participation to the meeting, who is the ninth leg of the Diamond League.
