As with every Reggae Sumfest, 'The Doctor' Beenie Man had a near-flawless surgery on the audience, Saturday morning at the Catherine Hall complex in Montego Bay when he closed the curtains on International Night One.
Drawing for his renowned hits, Sim Simma and Girls Dem Sugar, 'The Doctor' took fans through moments which defined why he is called the King of the Dancehall.
Increasing the tempo of the festival, Beenie Man incorporated Memories, Ole Dog, Dude, King of the Dancehall and Back it Up hitting masterpiece after masterpiece.
His energy never waned, and neither did the response from the crowd.
Then came the dancing!
Each song punctuated by his dance moves, showed why he was tagged the ultimate showman.
It was the same dancing-machine DJ, who tried to debunk the myth that he had never 'bust' an artiste, by reminding the audience of the rapper T.I.'s first song which he was featured on I'm Serious.
Beenie Man was joined on stage by Future Fambo for Rum & Red Bull which brought more life to the morning's last performance.
The International Night One performance was further elevated, even as Beenie Man re-empathized with I'm OK before closing with Bob Marley's Redemption Song.
Dedicating his opening song to the incarcerated Buju Banton, Beenie Man arrested the audience with How Would You Feel.
