Jamaica is spicing up its appeal with a great selection of romantic activities and vacation options for couples seeking a Valentine’s Day getaway.

Romantic Retreats
Couples booking a minimum three-night stay for travel to any Sandals Resort located in Jamaica between February 1 and March 15, 2010 will enjoy a romance-infused Luxury Included® vacation. The package must be booked by January 31, 2010, and includes: a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine; two celebration toasting flutes courtesy of Marquis by Waterford; turn-down service with Caribbean-inspired love notes and chocolate kisses; chocolate covered tropical fruits and a complimentary 15-minute photo session with keepsake romantic photo.
Half Moon’s Celebration Package creates a pampered and luxury-filled experience, beginning with luxury airport transfers by private car. A couples’ massage in the main gazebo overlooking the tranquil Caribbean Sea and a rejuvenating soak in a stone tub complete with champagne and truffles will be sure to make this getaway most memorable. Couples who book the Celebration Package will have their suite transformed into a romantic wonderland with scented rose petals and flickering candles. The all-inclusive rate is US$885 per couple, per night.
Couples Resorts is also adding a little mystery for couples booking a romantic getaway from now until February 28, 2010 with the Secret Rendezvous package. The couple’s booked property remains a secret until seven days prior to their arrival. Their special rendezvous will take place at Couples Negril, Couples Swept Away or Couples Sans Souci for US338 per night, per couple.
SkyCastles Resort located in the heart of Ocho Rios and within walking distance to attractions, nightlife, and restaurants, is offering couples a fifth night free when four nights are booked. Rates start at US$80 per night and couples will also receive a free bottle of wine upon arrival.
The all-inclusive Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort is offering the Sweet Treat package for guests visiting over Valentine's Day and beyond with a 40 percent discount available on all room categories. Rates start as low as US$143 per person based on double occupancy for stays February 12-16, 2010. Eligible bookings must be made by February 13, 2010, and a three-night minimum stay is required. Destination Weddings
For those wanting to say “I do” in Jamaica, Riu Ocho Rios and the luxurious Riu Palace Tropical Bay in Negril are offering free weddings to couples who reserve five or more rooms at the resorts. The free wedding package includes: on-site wedding coordinator to help plan the special day; decoration set up for the ceremony location for the wedding group; flowers for the bride and groom; reception dinner including wedding cake for the wedding group at one of the resort’s specialty restaurants and a surprise spa gift.
Spa Packages
The Red Lane Spa at Royal Plantation is introducing a Valentine’s Day exclusive Champagne Celebration treatment February 13–15, 2010. The treatment includes a champagne cocktail and relaxing soak in a warm water tub with petals infused with hydrating aromatic oils followed by a relaxing massage for two. The Champagne Celebration is US$365 per couple.
Adventures
Chukka Caribbean Adventures if offering the Buy One, Get One Half-Off Promotion valid on the relaxing Chukka River Tubing and exciting Chukka Horseback Ride N’ Swim adventures. Couples can book January 25 through February 10, 2010 for available excursions February 1 - 13, 2010.
On Valentine’s Day only, Dolphin Cove offers couples an up close and personal experience on the Dolphin Encounter. Couples booking a select encounter together will receive 50 percent discount on one encounter when a full-priced encounter is purchased.
