The University of the West Indies Physics Department present their Physics Homecoming. Here's the rundown: Conference Talks July 11 Morning Session – History and Progress of space and atmosphere studies at UWI & Physics, telecommunications and electronics. Evening Session – Physics and the entrepreneur, Physics and energy & physics and education July 12 Morning Session – Physics: Astronomy and the environment & Physics: Mining, material and industry. The Mix - On this day, all UWI Mona physics graduates are invited to reconnect and lyme with old friends, and the Physics alumni will be oifficially launched. There will also be department and campus tours, and the signing of the MoU between UWI and the Wigton Windfarm/CERE, as well as a Physics Poster Expo. |
