A tour is also planned for the United States during that period. The trio reunited this year and recorded new material in the summer.

Matthews and McDonald have recorded and toured as a duo for almost 20 years, while Dennis did similar duties with Black Uhuru after leaving the 'Souls' in the late 1980s.

Classic songs

In the 1970s, the trio, along with singer Buddy Haye, recorded a number of classic songs at the Channel One studio in Kingston. These hits include Firehouse Rock, War and Bredda Gravalicious.

Their last album was 2006's Live in San Francisco: Classic Jamaican Flava
