US Embassy to give boats to Jamaican police PDF Print E-mail

The United States (US) Embassy is expected to hand over 10 boats to the Jamaica Constabulary Force to aid Jamaica’s crime fighting efforts at sea.

 

A handover ceremony is planned for this Wednesday to begin at 9:00 am at the Office of the Police Commissioner on Old Hope Road.

 


US Ambassador to Jamaica Luis G Moreno, Minister of National Security Peter Bunting and Commissioner of Police Dr. Carl Williams are expected to be in attendance.

Other senior police officers as well as representatives from the American embassy will also be in attendance.
