|Jazz & Blues 2014 tickets available|
Fans are now able to secure tickets for the Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival scheduled for January 30 - February 1, 2014. The festival is one of the most diverse music events in the Western Hemisphere.
Only the website www.jamaicajazzandblues.com offers online tickets. Tickets are available for purchase in a range of options, allowing fans to choose what best fits their needs as patrons. Organisers have divided tickets to provide the fans with these choices by categorising the tickets in daily, weekend, and season passes.
General admissions are available starting at US$50 for Thursday and US$80 for Friday and Saturday. General admission weekend passes are available for US$155, which allows entry on Friday and Saturday, while the general season pass is only US$200. Daily VIP passes are available for US$120 with VIP weekend passes being sold for US$230. The VIP season passes are on sale for US$350.
According to Junior Taylor, associate producer for the Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival, the ticket prices remain the same as last year despite the drastic decline in the exchange rate. "The cost of the production is of such that we had to rationalise to spend and ensure that ticket prices are not out of the reach of local patrons," Taylor said.
Organisers have once again pulled out all the stops as they are set to deliver a thrilling line-up at the Trelawny Multipurpose Stadium from January 30 - February 1. Already, organisers have announced the likes of six-time Grammy winner Toni Braxton and the 2009 Best Urban/Alternative Performance Grammy awardee Chrisette Michele, among others for the show.
