3.6 quake in St Catherine, Jamaica PDF Print E-mail

According to the Earthquake Unit at the University of the West Indies, a minor earthquake magnitude 3.6, was felt in the central to eastern section of the island on Sunday at about 8:20pm.

 

The epicentre of the earthquake was located approximately 15km north of Spanish Town, St Catherine with a focal depth of 7.8km.

 

The quake was reportedly felt in Spanish Town and Old Harbour, as well as in Liguanea and Manor Park in St Andrew.
