Jamaica's Usain Bolt has claimed the World Championships sprint double in fine style clocking 19.66 in the final event on day eight ahead of his teammate Warren Weir who won silver in 19.79.

Bolt, running the 200m out of lane four, was off to a good start, powered around the bend and drove home with the entire field behind him.

Jamaica's other athlete in the final, Nickel Ashmeade was fourth in 20.05 - narrowly missing the third spot by one hundredths of a second.

Third was America's Curtis Mitchell in 20.04

This now pushes Jamaica's medal tally to seven - four gold, two silver and one bronze.
