Ja’s first Gospel Movie wins "Best Jamaican Feature Film" PDF Print E-mail

International Reggae Film Festival, the husband and wife team of Judith Falloon-Reid Brown and Michael Brown, Executive Producers and Directors of Just Another Friday, Jamaica's first Gospel movie celebrated a big win.

 

Awarded the "Best Jamaican Feature Film" by a panel of judges, Just Another Friday was produced in collaboration with the Jamaica Youth for Christ and its drama ministry, Acts 12, with support from a number of recording artistes, most known for Gospel music.

The Festival, led by director Barbara Blake-Hannah, was held in Ocho Rios over the Jamaica Independence weekend and featured over 23 films from as far away as Austria and Israel. Just Another Friday was the first Gospel feature film to ever be screened at the Reggae Film Festival.
