Jamaica Wins Best Island Food and Best Beach Awards PDF Print E-mail

Jamaica has taken top honors in the 2013 Best of the Caribbean survey, walking away with the awards for Best Island Food and Best Beach Bar - Rick’s Cafe.


With more than 12,000 votes cast by Islands’ readers, Jamaica was among the top winners.

Donnie Dawson, Deputy Director of Tourism, Sales, Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB), accepted the awards from Carol Johnson, Group Publisher of Bonnier Corporation, publishers of Islands.

The presentation took place on July 17 at the offices of the JTB in Miami. Published eight times a year by Bonnier Corp., Islands is a global authority on Caribbean destinations.
