Set to hit Spain’s Rototom Sunsplash stage in front of at least 200,000 fans are sons Ziggy, 42, and Stephen, 39, as well as wife Rita, who sang back up for Bob Marley & The Wailers. Mr. Vegas will get "Heads High" on opening night, where over 300 bands and DJs are said to rock the crowd.

The festival once called Italy home but moved to Spain in 2010. The festival’s director Filippo Giunta tells Reuters, "They accused us of promoting the use of marijuana just because of the relationship of reggae and the Rastafarian religion, which considers it to be a holy plant."

The fête is inspired by the “Buffalo Soldier," who would have been 66 years old.

The global event, which features acts from 100 different countries, takes place over 10 days and donates proceeds to African, Asian and Latin American charities.
