Lauryn Hill To Perform on NBC’s Bob Marley Tribute Week PDF Print E-mail

A star studded Bob Marley tribute week beginning today, the Grammy-award winning artist will perform her favorite Bob Marley songs on NBC’s ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.’

 

In a rare TV appearance, the musician, producer and actress will take the ‘Late Night’ stage on Thursday, May 12 to perform two of Marley’s classic songs. Hill’s prolific rhymes and powerful voice catapulted her into the public eye as a member of the Fugees, and she later established herself as a successful solo artist with her now classic debut ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.’

 

A seven-time Grammy Award winning artist, Lauryn Hill is currently on tour across the country with her ‘Moving Target: Extended Intimate Playdate Series.’

 

Ziggy Marley kicks off the week long celebration of the legendary reggae artist’s musical legacy with a sit-down interview and performance tonight. Chris Cornell will perform on Tuesday, May 10; on Wednesday, May 11 Jennifer Hudson and Jakob Dylan will each perform a Marley song; followed by Lauryn Hill on Thursday, May 12 and Lenny Kravitz to close out the week on Friday, May 13.

 

The weeklong event is sponsored by Anheuser-Busch.
