KC are TVJ's School Challenge Quiz Champions! PDF Print E-mail

Kingston College are the 2011 TVJ School's Challenge Quiz champions.  KC defeated Titchfield High School by 33 to 11 points in the 42nd final held at TVJ's Lyndhurst Road studios Thursday evening.

 

The boys from North Street  was securing their tenth hold on the School's Challenge Trophy, a record.  That's the most wins by any school. Titchfield were competing in their first ever final.

 

KC led from the start ending the first section with 6 points to Titchfield's 5.  However KC pulled ahead in the speed section gaining 15 points while Titchfield could only manage 6.  The scores going into the buzzer section (21-11) highlighted the huge task ahead for Titchfield. 

 

In the buzzer section KC stamped their classs making 8 out of 10 correct answers compared with Titchfield's 3 out of 6.  Scores at the end KC 33 Titchfield 11.
