Ky-mani has been here in Jamaica a lot recently, recording for his new album…Evolution for a Revolution. He just released a book about the trials of his life growing up without his father whom the world adores… ‘Dear Dad’. It’s also Ky-Mani’s first Earthstrong at home in years, so we’re celebrating with some special surprise guest performances from some of his favourite artistes… Shhh! He doesn’t know yet, so don’t tell him!

Fresh off his first tour, Protoje has stories to share about life on the road for a ‘Dread’, and maybe even some new material.Jabalance and Teflon bringing the farm vibes from St. Ann, Italee with a little spice and Raging Fyah playing music for the Rebels! Zion Train will be on the turntables.

As is standard, in the days before each show, we take the artistes into a school(s) to have Conversations with the youths. This month we’ll be talking about the role of music in the fight for our rights at St. Hugh’s High School on Friday February 25.

We will also be making a quick stop at the Bull Bay All Age School to have lunch with the youngsters. There we will assess the needs of the school to see how we can assist for next month’s concert.This month donations will be in aid of Matthew 25:40 and Chepstowe Basic School in Portland.

Matthew 25:40 is a homeless shelter located Downtown Kingston, which provides assistance for up to 60 homeless people at any given time.Chepstowe Basic School is a project of U.R.G.E. Unlimited Resources Giving Enlightenment, an initiative started by Ziggy Marley 13 years ago to help the future generation with tools and resources to ensure they get the education they need. We have helped with the construction and general maintenance of the school and its students.
