January Hearing In Place For Michael Jackson`s Doctor |
Jackson`s Caribbean-born doctor will have to keep a January 4, 2011 criminal hearing date with the court.
A judge kept in place the January criminal hearing for Grenada-born Doctor Conrad Murray, who supplied the pop star`s medications prior to his death.
The `Thriller` singer died in June 2009 from an overdose of prescription drugs, principally the powerful anesthetic propofol. Murray has admitted giving Jackson propofol as a sleep aid, but has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
Murray lived with his maternal grandparents, two Grenadian farmers until age 7 when he relocated to Trinidad and Tobago to live with his mother, Milta. There he became a citizen and finished high school. Murray didn`t meet his dad , a former Houston-based physician, until he was 25.
