U.S. Embassy in Jamaica announces call for proposals |
The U.S. Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica is currently accepting proposals for funding through the 2010 Ambassador’s HIV Prevention Program.
The Ambassador’s Program is part of the larger President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the largest effort by any nation to combat a single disease, which was launched in 2003 by President George Bush. PEPFAR, and by extension, the Ambassador’s Program, focuses on prevention, care, and treatment programs for HIV/AIDS.
