Second Bag Now To Cost On Air Jamaica |
Bird, the national carrier of Jamaica, will soon have to shell out when checking a second bag.
Air Jamaica officials on Thursday announced that beginning October 14, economy passengers will have to pay US$25 when checking a second bag up to 50 pounds.
However, overweight baggage will decrease from $75 to $50 for the first bag weighing 51 - 70 pounds but excess baggage will increase from $80 to $125 per bag.
Lovebird Executive Class passengers will, however be allowed three pieces of checked luggage, along with one carry-on bag at no charge.
