Dr. Conrad Murray, the Caribbean-born doctor believed to have been the last person to see Michael Jackson alive, could face a criminal investigation for manslaughter.

Murray was actually born on the Spice Island of Grenada. Dr. Murray`s actual place of birth is given as St. Andrews, Grenada on February 19, 1953.
Murray reportedly lived his first seven years with his maternal grandparents, according to his lawyers` statement, which notes that he did not meet his father, a doctor, until 1978, when he was 25.
This refutes a previous report by the Trinidad Express that Murray was born in Trinidad. He actually moved to San Juan, Trinidad, where he joined his mother and stepfather. He was educated there and worked as a schoolteacher and a customs clerk before migrating.
Reports show he graduated in 1983 with a bachelor of science degree from Texas Southern University.
In 1989, he attended the Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee and earned a doctorate in medicine. Murray subsequently did additional training at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and the Loma Linda University Medical Center in California, according to the AP, and had fellowships in interventional cardiology at the University of Arizona Medical Center and University of California, San Diego.
He is licensed to practice in California, Texas and Nevada. Murray lives in an exclusive golfing community of large homes flanked by mountains in Las Vegas. He took a leave from his practice last month. In a letter to his Nevada patients, he said he was leaving `because of a once in a lifetime opportunity.`
Murray, who resided at Jackson`s rented Los Angeles home, is the only one who was present at the time of the singer`s death. It is widely speculated that Murray administered Propofol before his death. The drug, according to experts, induces a coma and is typically only administered in hospitals since if doses are not monitored correctly, a patient could go into cardiac arrest.
Jackson suffered a cardiac arrest and died on June 25, 2009.
Murray has interestingly been under investigation in the past. The doctor was almost sued for malpractice when a patient died during a botched surgery.
Edward Chernoff, Murray`s attorney, insists it was his client has done nothing wrong in the Jackson case.
`Dr. Murray didn`t prescribe or administer anything that should have killed Michael Jackson,` Chernoff said in a statement.
Meanwhile, an unauthorized biography out now claims Jackson had two gay lovers. Author Ian Halperin, who penned `Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson,` details Jackson`s alleged exploits with two men - an actor and a construction worker.
`He was very shy,` the actor told Halperin, `but when he started to have sex, he was insatiable.`
In 2007 after Jackson moved to Las Vegas, sources say he would dress as a woman so he could meet the construction worker at a run-down motel.
Halperin quotes a source as saying, `Michael would leave the house in disguise, often dressed as a woman, and would go meet his boyfriend at a motel that was one of Vegas` grungiest dives. caribworldnews
