Mouth Cut Crossway - Michelle Obama's Fashion Power

In Jamaica wi have phrase fi say “ Mouth cut crossway, and mouth meck fi chat”. It basically suggests that, you don’t really need to have a valid reason to talk. Once you have a mouth then you are free to go ahaed.

That is how I feel in relation to many of the comments about the wonderfully gorgeous Michelle Obama. Trust me, half of the women criticizing her would wish that they have her sense of style and fashion. Half of the men criticizing her, secretly wished that their wives or girfriends had her panache and style. The rest ... mouth cut crossway.

I even saw a fashionista saying that her arms are so long that she should restrict the number of sleeveless tops. Now ef yuh see di so called fahionista! In jamaica we say 'fat like cut puss', and pon top of it 'boofity'... which means, just as it sounds... boofity

Michelle Obama has the ability to put on a sheet and meck yuh think it was done by some famous designer. She oozes confidence and brings a simple pair of jeans and a tank top to life. She has great skin (look at her shoulders and her arms), and is gorgeous in ‘covered up’ clothing and in clothes which show her well toned arms, shoulders and legs.

Every designer who she wears is very proud and their clothing immediately begins to fly off the shelf. Such is the Fashion power of Michelle Obama. I wish I had her legs and arms.
