The Consular Section of the Embassy of the United States of America in Kingston will be closed on Friday, February 8, 2008. The rest of the Embassy will remain open. Consequently, there will be no visa interviews held that day.

Therefore, applicants who have visa interviews scheduled for February 8 have been rescheduled for the afternoon of either February 4 or February 11. Persons who have been told to pick up their U.S. Passport from the American Citizen Services unit on February 8 may pick it up on Thursday, February 7 instead.
