'Asafa Powell - Taining For Speed' -the title of the upcoming workout CD by sprint wonderboy, Asafa Powell.

The workout CD will demonstrate the versatility of the world's second fastest man, while enjoying some good Jamaican music.  Produced by Nike and VP Records, the CD uses a background of old and new dancehall and reggae hits, including Tami Chynn's 'Hyperventilating', Shaggy's 'Big Up', Half Pint's 'Greetings' and Sean Paul's 'Deport Them'.

It also features an exclusive track 'On The Go (Faster Than Bullet)' by one of Powell’s favourite deejays, Mavado. Other artistes featured on the CD include Wayne Wonder, Barrington Levy, and Sister Nancy.

On the CD, Powell coaches runners through a 35-minute training session with four high-speed intervals that decrease progressively in length. The workout is aimed at increasing runners' speed and endurance with musical motivation from Jamaica. They are available exclusively in the Nike Sport Music section of the iTunes Store for US$9.99.

Asafa Powell held the world record for the men's 100m dash for 3 years from 2005-2008. He is now the world's second fastest man (personal best 9.74s), and the only person to run under 10s more than once.
