Independence Day, which is celebrated in the USA on Monday, July 4, will see an explosion of Caribbean events happening across the country including the annual “Celebrities in Action Soccer Match” which will take place for the first time at Goool Indoor Soccer Area in Stratford, Connecticut. The event will feature a Jamaican all star team that will do battle again a team from the USA. Confirmed for the match is the king of mix up himself Raggashanti, plus the usual suspects – Gyptian, Lukie D, Capt Barkey & Wickerman, Delly Ranks, Kiprich and female DJ Macka Diamond.
“This match is not only for soccer fans, its for fans of reggae music and fans of Jamaica, the culture, the food and the lifestyle” Dougie Laughman from Dem Man Yah Promotions said.
“I started putting on this event 13 years ago because I wanted to combine Jamaica’s favorite pastimes – music, sports and of course food. Patrons will get the whole package: great entertainment, great music and the opportunity to see their favorite stars in action” he concluded.
The event will feature four exciting, fun filled games that will provide lots of surprises for the whole family. Stone Love Movements from Jamaica will be provide the music
