Two-time Olympic champion Veronica Campbell-Brown of Jamaica has won the women's 100 meters at the Osaka Grand Prix.
Campbell-Brown, who won gold in the women's 200 in Beijing and Athens, started had to quickly make up ground to finish comfortably ahead of Fukushima.
"I didn't get the start I wanted," Campbell-Brown said. "I didn't execute the way I wanted but am happy to get the win. It's always good to come back to Osaka."
American Michael Rodgers coasted to victory in the men's 200 with a time of 20.55, 0.11 seconds ahead of Canadian Jared Connaughton.
Ireland's Joanne Cuddihy took the women's 400 with a time of 52.15, 0.78 seconds ahead of Jamaica's Clora Williams while Ginnie Powell of the United States powered to victory in the women's 100 hurdles in 12.76.
