The third annual Reggae Music Achievement Awards, held in Toronto, Canada on Sunday night, saw some surprises as the winners in the various categories were announced.
It was a night on which veterans, current and upcoming acts, radio personalities and dub poets were feted in fine style.
A special award was given to singer George Nooks for his outstanding contribution to music and also to Irie FM radio personality, Elise Kelly. Queen Ifrica was named International Artiste of the Year.
