Bustamante - Thanksgiving Church Service

The thanksgiving service for the life  and work of  national hero and first  prime minister of Jamaica, the Rt. Excellent Sir Alexander Bustamante, will be held on Sunday February 24, the 124th anniversary of his birth. The event will be held at the national heritage site at Blenheim in the hills of Hanover, location of the reconstructed replica of the house in which Bustamante lived as a child.

Prime Minister Bruce Golding heads the list of  officials who will participate in the service organized  by the Jamaica Cultural development Commission and the Hanover Parish Council.
