The University of the West Indies Steel Panoridim Orchestra celebrates Panfest 2008, it's official concert season for this year. Love the sounds of the steel pan? Enjoy listening to good 'pan' music? Interested in hearing it, or just curious to find out what it is? Their concerts promise to be a wonderful blend of reggae, soca, classical and contemporary pieces that will leave heads nodding, feet tapping and hands clapping. Guest artistes are Kamla Hamilton and Mario Evon.

Showtimes are:

Saturday, July 5 at 4pm ($650) and 8pm ($800)

Sunday, July 6 at 4pm (800) and 8pm ($800)

Friday July 11 at 8pm ($650)

Sunday July 13 at 4pm and 8pm ($800 each)

Tickets are available at Monarch Pharmacy at Sovereign Centre, The Phillip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts at UWI and the Panyard at UWI's student union in the evenings.
