The U.S. Embassy's fourth annual film series in collaboration with Red Bones, "The Blues Meets Jazz," continues on Thursday, February 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Red Bones Blues Cafe, Braemar Avenue with "A Masterpiece at Midnight," (from the Ken Burns "Jazz" series). In this film, jazz seeks to redefine itself in the turbulent 60s, and a new generation of jazz musicians leads the way into the 21st Century with renewed vigor. |
